Physician Leadership Orientation Course

Physician Leadership Orientation Course is offered twice a year, once in the Spring and once in the Fall. It is open to all interested physicians who are affiliated with Hamilton Health Sciences (HHS) and provides a broad overview of our organizational structure, governance and the credentialing process as well as our goals, priorities and how we work together. Also discussion includes the role of the Medical Staff Association (MSA), as well as a host of useful topics ranging from quality and safety in healthcare, through privacy and the financial foundation needed to understand hospital funding, among others.

To see slides from the last course offering (Fall 2021) please refer to the Education tab on the MSA website (https://www.hhs-msa.com/education).

The dates for our spring offering are: April 26th, 28th and May 3rd from 4:00-6:30pm and all sessions will be accessible via Zoom. We usually aim to include 20-25 participants per course. An email with invitations will be sent via Dr. Michael Stacey’s office, likely in March. Please keep your eye out for this email if you are interested to attend.
