Dear Colleagues:
The war in Ukraine is on all our minds. As physicians, we find ourselves especially touched by the human suffering of this war. We reached out to you to ask your opinion about donating to the relief fund of the *Canadian Red Cross as a humanitarian gesture of support. More than 200 MDs replied, and 90% of you support the MSA making a donation to this fund. Thank you for taking the time to provide your views and to steer the MSA.
This matter of the donation was discussed at length at two MSA Exec meetings where the issues about the donation were considered carefully. To best represent you, we will provide the *Canadian Red Cross with a one-time donation of $10,000 specifically for this cause.
